is a fellowship-trained rhinologist and is board-certified in otolaryngology. His sub-specialty fellowship training is in the medical and surgical management of Nose and Sinus disease ('Rhinology'). He has extensive experience in complex and revision endoscopic sinus surgery, frontal sinus surgery, endoscopic brain fluid (CSF) leak repairs and sinus tumor resections, endoscopic orbital procedures as well as the medical/nonsurgical management of complicated sinus disease.
Dr. Higgins is one of the few sinus subspecialists with advanced fellowship training in the nation. He pursued an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) at Quantic School of Business and Technology. He is a proud associate with Kentuckiana Ear, Nose & Throat, P.S.C. and a Clinical Associate Professor with the Department of Otolaryngology, University of Louisville School of Medicine. He also co-founded and serves as the President and Chairman of the Board of ENT Care Centers, PLLC, the corporate entity of Kentuckiana ENT, Community ENT, Louisville Family ENT, and ENT Associates. Along with his special interest in complex sinus disease, Dr. Higgins also provides quality care for the spectrum of adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat problems.
Dr. Arthur Wu
is a board-certified Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon and fellowship-trained Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgeon. He is trained in the medical and surgical management of all aspects of general otolaryngology. He specializes in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and has a particular interest in the treatment of nasal and sinus related diseases including chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal obstruction and allergic rhinitis. He also has an interest in the endoscopic treatment of skull base tumors and ophthalmologic disorders including eye tearing and proptosis.
Dr. Wu graduated with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and earned his M.D. degree from Duke University. He then completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles. Following residency, Dr. Wu completed the Harvard Sinus and Skull Base Surgery Fellowship with Dr. Ralph Metson, an international leader in the field. He has presented nationally and published numerous articles on the treatment of chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, sinonasal and skull base tumors, and the endoscopic treatment of orbital disease. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Rhinologic Society, and American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy as well as an editor of www.sinusvideos.com.
